A sum of Rs 8 million, collected by the Army through the Poppy Flower campaign in 2018 was handed over to Brigadier A.K Gnanaweera (retd), President, Ex-Servicemen's Association on Friday (15) by Major General Nishantha Wanniarachchi, Adjutant General on behalf of the Commander of the Army.

After inviting him to the Adjutant General Branch at Narahenpita, Major General Wanniarachchi handed over the cheque to that value. |
