To meet with the emergency need, 8 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 143 Brigade under the 14 Division rushed to assist douse a raging fire in a coir factory in Kuliyapitiya area at the request of the Police and the Fire Brigade Wednesday (27) afternoon.

A total of 26 Army personnel, led by one Officer, joined hands with firefighters and assisted to bring it under control. |
