Major General Nevil Weerasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 22 Division took part in the awarding ceremony of the Annual Sports Meet at Trincomalee Mihindu College as the Chief Guest on Wednesday (20).

Mr Saman Mallawarachchi, Principal, together with a few teachers welcomed the Chief Guest on arrival and the Chief Guest was invited to hoist the national flag before commencement of the Meet.

At the end, Major General Weerasinghe gave away trophies and certificates to the achievers in the sports meet and delivered a brief addressed to the occasion highlighting the need to develop one’s character and personality to face challenges in life.
