A group of more than 50 Army personnel serving the 111 Brigade of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) voluntarily donated their blood to support a project, launched by Kandy School Millennium - 2000 organization for the benefit of patients in the Kandy Teaching Hospital.

Kandy School Millennium - 2000 in a letter to the 11 Division Headquarters sought the assistance of the Army for donation of blood since the organization has a high regard for the armed forces.

The donation campaign on Saturday (16) at the Kandy Municipal Council premises was supported by the medical staff at Kandy Teaching Hospital Blood Bank. |
