55 Division Headquarters in Kadeikadu - Jaffna commemorated its 22nd anniversary on Thursday (20) with its General Officer Commanding (GOC), Brigadier Jayantha Gunarathne, taking a salute in the formal Guard Turnout.

A group photograph and an all rank lunch were among other features. Prior to the anniversary day, 104 Army personnel donated their blood to the Blood Bank in the Jaffna Teaching Hospital on Saturday (8).

War Heroes and invoke blessings on those wounded in action and still recovering. Sri Lanka National Guard music band on the anniversary day entertained the 55 Division troops on account of its 22nd anniversary. |
