To coincide with the ongoing ‘Wana Ropa’ national tree planting drive, the Field Engineer Headquarters at Mattegoda launched a tree sapling planting programme inside the premises on Monday (26).

Organized on the instructions of Major General H. R. K. P Peiris, Chief Field Engineer (CFE), troops planted about 50 Jack and 60 coconut saplings during the programme. |
