MIDAS Industrial Clothing (Pvt) Ltd considering the magnitude of the services being performed by the troops donated a large stock of hand gloves to the Master General Ordnance (MGO) Branch on Thursday (15) at their factory, situated in the Free Trade Zone - Katunayake.

This valuable donation can be used for both general purposes and specific purposes, like constructions, mechanical trades, etc as safety instruments.

Mr Basheer Ali, Regional General Manager, Mr Arjuna Jayasingha, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Mr Udaya Sugathadasa, Mr. Prasad Muhandiramge, Mr Indika Balabowa and Major Roshan Jayawardena (retd), managers of MIDAS Industrial Clothing (Pvt) Ltd represented the donor company during the handover of the donation.

Lieutenant Colonel A.M.S Premawansha, Major T.M.D.S.S Megolla and Captain P.M.S.B Rathnayake representing the Master General Ordnance (MGO) Branch accepted the donation with gratitude.

A sample of those hand gloves was presented to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake this morning (27) by the MGO, Major General Jagath Gunawardena, accompanied by the another Senior Officer at the MGO Branch. |
