Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna during a formal visit to the 4 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) in Jaffna on Wednesday (21) gave away 3 new motor bicycles for use as outriders for ceremonial duties. The worth of the motorbikes stood at nearly 29 lakhs.

The Jaffna Commander was received by the Commanding Officer of the Battalion, Major Sisira Prasanna on arrival. Subsequently, an All Rank lunch, held after a discussion with the Officers about their duties and problems brought the arrangement to culmination. |
