Major General C.S Atipola, the newly-appointed, Commander, Logistic Command Headquarters assumed duties during a simple ceremony at his office on Friday (26).

A Guard Turnout plus a Guard of honour, religious observances and an All Rank tea treat at the Army Logistic Command Headquarters - Salawa marked the occasion of his assumption of office as the Logistic Commander.

He was the Commander Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu (FMA-MLT) until he was appointed to the new office.

Centre Commandants and a few Senior Officers from Logistic Regiments of the Army attended the day’s ceremony. |
