Major General Aruna Jayasekera, Colonel of the Regiment, Gemunu Watch (GW) on Saturday (20) at the GW Regimental Headquarters in Kuruwita laid the foundation stone for construction of a two-storied accommodation complex for Officers serving the GW.

The proposed building, a long-felt need of the GW Headquarters is to be completed within a few months with the technical support of GW troops.

Several Senior Officers, Centre Commandant, Commanding Officers, Staff Officers and a group of Other Rankers attended the occasion. |
