The routine change-over of the President’s ceremonial guard at the President’s House and the Temple Trees from Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) to Sri Lanka Navy members occurred Monday morning (1) during a brief ceremony in front of the President’s House at Colombo Fort.

Having performed their duties for a period of 6 months, this formal handover of duties to Navy troops took place in a formal manner after signing formal documents to that effect. The brief ceremony ended with exchange of greetings. |
