Following a new initiative of the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, an awareness lecture on ‘Forest Conservation and Forestry Laws’ was conducted by Officials of the Divisional Forest Office on Friday (21) at 571 Brigade Headquarters in Kilinochchi.

Organized by the Commander, 571 Brigade, the awareness lecture touched on different aspects on forest conservation, illicit timber felling, effects of deforestation, sustainability, environmental impact, etc. |
