122 Brigade troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) a few days ago doused a bushfire that erupted in the general area of Gonadeniya forest reserve in Weeraketiya in the Hambantota District.

On the instructions of Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen), the Commanding Officer, 3 Sri Lanka National Guard and troops took part in the minor operation.

One Officer and fifteen members of the troops took part in the efforts. |
