A few more than 51 Army personnel at the request of the Municipal Council (MC) in Bandarawela joined hands, together with MC staff, volunteers and civilians to clean up Bandarawela town and its adjacent areas on Saturday (29).

On the guidelines given by Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen), all formations under command to the SFHQ - Central actively contributed to the day’s programme.

The project enabled health authorities to reduce the danger of Dengue epidemic in the area. |
