An educative programme on ‘Human Rights’ was conducted on Monday (25) in the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) premises for troops of under-command formations.

The lecture also touched on issues, related to fundamental rights. Major General Kumudu Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni on Monday (25), initiated the project.

Coordinating Officer in the Human Rights Commission in Vavuniya, Mr. M R Priyadharshana and Regional Coordinating Officer of the Human Rights Commission in Anuradhapura, Mrs Shiromi Priyanga delivered those informative lectures.

More than 25 Officers and 300 Other Ranks attended the lecture. |
