Two Officers and 179 Other Ranks of the Security Force Headquarters- Central (SFHQ-Cen) on account of the International Olympic Day (June 23) contributed to the effective conduct of the ‘The Olympians’ Run - 2018’, organized by the Sri Lanka’s Olympians (SLO) in Kandy.

The organizing committee in a request made to the Commander of the Army sought the Army’s assistance for conduct of the ‘The Olympians’ Run - 2018’ which started from Bogambara ground and ended at Getambe ground. All Army personnel representing the Sri Lanka Army Athletic Team participated in the run with hundreds of others.

Chief Minister of Central Province Mr. Sarath Ekanayake distributed certificates to all the participants.
