A sudden fire that broke out in Halpe area in the Badulla District was brought to the notice of the troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) on Saturday (23).

Troops of the SFHQ-Cen managed to douse the wildfire within a couple of hours on the same evening (23). More than 15 troops on the instructions of Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen) took part in the operation.
