To coincide with the World Environment Day & National Environment Week, a Security Force Headquarters - Central-organized cleaning campaign got underway around Diyatalawa town intending to clean the township on Saturday (2).

A total of 240 Army personnel from all training centres in Diyatalawa town assisted the cleaning of Haputhale junction and the areas up to the Y junction.

The Shramadana also focused on areas surrounding water catchment areas and other wet grounds.
