In accordance with directives given by the Commander of the Army for improvement of the professional competence of Officers and All Ranks serving island-wide, 18 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 12 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) made presentations, on 'King Kavantissa’, ‘King Dutugemunu', ‘Princess Vihara Mahadevi’ and ‘King Elara’ after completion of the battalion training under the supervision of the SFHQ-Cen. The presentations were aimed at refreshing historical memories of those royalties.

On behalf of the Commander, Security Forces - Central, Colonel C.S Munasinghe, Colonel General Staff at the SFHQ-Cen attended the sessions and witnessed the presentations.

Colonel General Staff, SFHQ-Cen delivered the closing remarks at the end of the ceremony and praised the attempts of those presenters.

Towards the end of the programme, an interactive question - answer session got underway, aimed at further enhancing their knowledge on the subjects.
