233 Brigade of the 23 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) recently distributed 1500 cashew nut saplings, provided thanks to the sponsorship of ‘Dilmah’ Conservation among students at Palachchenai Government Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Kadiraweli under the supervision of the Brigade Commander, 233 Brigade.

Distribution of those plants after gathering them to one place took place at Palachchenai Government Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Kadiraweli for the benefit of students on Thursday (15).

Mr Asanka Abeykoon, Head of the ‘Dilmah’ Conservation, government officials, Army personnel of the 233 Brigade and students participated in the event.
