Colonel S.B Amunugama assumed office as the Officiating Brigade Commander of the 622 Brigade of the 62 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Monday (12) at Helambawewa, Welioya.

The newly-appointed Officiating Brigade Commander was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance to the 622 Brigade Headquarters upon his arrival. Afterwards, he addressed all Ranks and planted a sapling in the 622 Brigade Headquarter premises as a token of memory.

Commanding Officers and Staff Officers serving the 622 Brigade were also present at the occasion.
