51 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on account of the 70th Independence Day launched a blood donation campaign at the 51 Division Headquarters in Kopay, Jaffna on Tuesday (6).

A total of 150 Army personnel and members of the civil staff volunteered to donate blood during this arrangements organized under the supervision of Major General Roshan Seneviratne, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 51 Division.

The medical team during the programme thanked the Army for its timely gesture.

Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna (SF-J) has extended his support to the project.
