Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare Officers’ Course No 21 at Maduruoya Army Training School (ATS) commenced on Friday (19) with the participation of 18 foreign and local Officers.

2 Officers from Pakistan, 2 Officers from Bangladesh, 1 Officer from Nepal, 1 Officer from Maldives and 12 Officers from the Sri Lanka Army are attending the course No 21.

The opening address was delivered by the Commandant at Army Training School, Brigadier Jayantha Seneviratne.

The course, one of the rare modules in training spheres in Army training establishments, has attracted many foreign officers to-date.
