Troops of the 3 Gajaba Regiment of the 57 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) distributed approximately 2000 plants of economic value among the civilians in Ampakamam area in Kilinochchi to elevate their financial standards on Thursday (21).

This distribution programme among 50 selected families in Ampakaman was initiated under the guidance of Major General Jagath Gunawardene, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and on the directions of Colonel Chandana Somaweera, Brigade Commander, 574 Brigade.

Those plants with economic value such as Jack, Breadfruits, Coconut and Mango were among them.
