The certificate awarding ceremony of the training programme on Agriculture Management Course ‘Hela Govikam’ got underway at the Centre for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) for selected 34 Army personnel on Thursday (7) at the CAVT, Kala Oya.

This agriculture course was designed to enhance the awareness on cultivation and the knowledge on agriculture.

During the course, Army personnel also learnt about both theoretical and practical aspects on cultivation of plants and agriculture management systems.

The certificate awarding ceremony on Thursday (7) was held at the CAVT in Kala Oya with the participation of Brigadier Randula Hatnagoda, CAVT Commandant, Kalaoya along with Lieutenant Colonel Shashika Perera, Commanding Officer, CAVT and several officials.
