In parallel with the 68th Army anniversary, 57 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) provided a delicious lunch treat to the elders and children at Karunanilayam Ashram in Kilinochchi on the Army Day (Oct 10).

Organized on the instructions of Major General Jagath Gunawardena, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, more than 55 inmates in this home for elders and children were treated to lunch during the occasion.

The event was supported under the supervision of Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade, Colonel Ajith Kolambathntri. Representing the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade attended as the Chief Guest on the occasion.
