Troops of the 26 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) under the 522 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) recently donated school items for needy children in Karampaham Government Tamil Mix School (GTMS) and Vinayagar pre-school on account of the Children’s Day.

26 selected children from Karampaham GTMS and 20 children from Vinayagar pre-school received those school accessories during the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Kamal Pinnawala, Brigade Commander, 522 Brigade, Major Sumith Gamage, Commanding Officer, 26 SLNG, Officers, teachers, students, parents and Other Rankers.
