The Passing out Parade (PoP) of 73 recruits of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) who followed the 71 SLCMP Recruit Training Course took place on Monday (21) at the SLCMP Training School in Giritale.

Brigadier Wasantha Madola, Centre Commandant, SLCMP as the Chief Guest, received the salute of the recruits passed out during the PoP ceremony after their three-month long training.

Special merit awards were given to following categories under different fields of excellence on the same occasion.

Private B.K.A Madulal was awarded as the Best All Rounder and Private R.B.R.P Avishka was awarded as the Best Shooter.
