Brigadier Duminda Sirinaga, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), amidst religious observances at SLEME Regimental Headquarters, Colombo 2 assumed office recently.

The newly-appointed Colonel Commandant of the SLEME was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant on arrival at the SLEME Regimental Headquarters.

A Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour presented by SLEME troops in accordance with the military formalities and a signing of a formal document signified the acceptance of the office as the Colonel Commandant.

An All Rank tea and refreshments brought the brief ceremony to end.
