Centre for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) at Kalaoya, Saliyawewa in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Vocational Training Authority conducted a six-day long (July 10 - 16) workshop for 317 potential Army retirees in future.

The workshop organized under the guidance of Brigadier H.R.B.T Hathnagoda, Commandant, CAVT mainly consisted of lectures delivered by different civil experts with special focus on ‘adaptation to civil society’, ‘life as a retiree’, ‘importance of following a vocation’, ‘civil relations’, etc.
