The change-over of the ceremonial guard at the President’s House and the Temple Trees took place this morning (1) during a brief ceremony in front of the President’s House at Colombo-Fort.

During the formal ceremony, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) took over their ceremonial duties from the Sri Lanka Air Force for a period of six months, beginning 1 April 2017.

After signing formal documents to that effect, both Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Air Force troops exchanged greetings.
