The new officiating Commander at the Army Logistic Command Headquarters, Kosgama, Brigadier W.R Palihakkara took office on Thursday (30) at his Kosgama office in a simple ceremony.

A Guard Turnout, religious observances and an All Rank tea treat at the Army Logistic Command Headquarters - Salawa marked his assumption of duties as the officiating Logistic Commander.

He was the officiating Commander Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu (FMA-MLT) until he was appointed to the new office.

Centre Commandants and a few Senior Officers from Logistic Regiments of the Army attended the day’s ceremony.
