The year’s first quarter Council Meeting of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) got underway on Friday (17) at the SLNG Regimental auditorium, chaired by Major General A.P De Z Wickramarathne, Colonel of the Regiment, SLNG.

The meeting focused on further promotion of SLNG Regimental standards by streamlining the functionalities of the Regiment under the able leadership of its Colonel of the Regiment.

Discussions also centred on the preparation of officers for competitive selection examinations, conduct of regimental functions and infrastructure improvement, etc.
