Vijabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) Headquarters in Boyagane, Kurunegala launched one more Training Day Programme for officers on Thursday (9) on ‘Officer Career Development’ to be in keeping with the instructions of the Army Commander.

Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Colonel of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) delivered the opening lecture and explained the importance of sustained training programmes.

A total of 180 officers attended the training Day programme at the VIR Regimental Center.
