A much-needed water purification unit for the Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) Battalion Training School at Katukeliyawa was installed, following an initiative taken by Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Colonel Commandant, MIC on Wednesday (08).

During the recent visit made by the Colonel Commandant, the purification unit to the value of Rs. 871,905.00 was installed and made operational with water drawn from Beddepanvila water reservoir in the near vicinity.

During the visit, the Colonel Commandant also opened a newly-built billet and a new mess building unit for Other Ranks.
