On a proposal made by Major General Dampath Fernando, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT), troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Wednesday (1) organized a Buddhist religious programme to invoke blessings on Army personnel serving under the SFHQ-MLT and transfer merits to the fallen ones.

Ven. Ratmalane Palitha Thero, the Chief Incumbent at Thalgaswewa temple delivered a Dhamma sermon during the religious programme.

Senior officers and Army personnel of the SFHQ-MLT participated in the event.
