Troops of the Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) celebrated its 24th Corps Day at its Regimental Centre, Karandeniya on Wednesday (25).

The Colonel Commandant was welcomed by the Centre Commandant on arrival at the Regimental Centre. A Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour greeted him as a formality.

All participants were afterwards hosted to lunch after a tree sapling at the Regimental premises took place.

During the programme, children of MIC War Heroes and those serving the MIC Regiment received gifts as incentives. At the end of the day’s event, a solemn ceremony recalled the memories of fallen War Heroes.
