SFHQ-MLT & SFHQ-C Conduct Wednesday Training Programmes

Two regular Wednesday training programmes, launched on behalf of the officers in Divisions, Forward Maintenance areas, Brigades and Units under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) got underway on Wednesday (28).

The programme was conducted on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu.

During the programme, Major T. M. N. D Tennakoon of 1 Sri Lanka Signal Corps delivered a lecture on ‘Army Radio Relay Network’ and ‘Army Data Network’.

Furthermore, Sergeant R. G Susanthalal of 6 (Volunteer) Military Intelligence Corps presented a lecture on Security Clearance.

Several officers and other ranks attended the programme.

In the meantime, one more Wednesday training programme was held at the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on the same day.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces-Central (SF-C).

During the programme, Major N. B Sanjeewa of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps conducted a lecture on ‘Cyber Security in Tactical Level’ and Sergeant Sisira Karunarathna who is working in the Traffic Section of the Police Station, Bandarawela delivered a lecture on 'crowd dispersal'.

A total of 80 Army personnel including 10 officers and 70 other ranks attended the programme.
