Major General D.S.C Wanniarachchi, the newly-appointed, Log Commander assumed on Thursday (22).

Major General D.S.C Wanniarachchi, prior to this new appointment served as the Commander of Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu.

The newly-appointed Log Commander signed an official document symbolizing the assumption of office and he succeeds Major General M.H.P Mihindukulasuriya.

After assuming duties, he addressed all the ranks as a formality.

Senior officers, officers and other ranks attended the simple ceremony.
