Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment’s annual pet project, ‘Paabala Mela - 2016’ exhibition and carnival got off this evening (16) at Hikkaduwa public grounds.

The two-day mega spectacle, coloured with a variety of entertaining features, including Flashback (16), Sanidapa (17) bands will stage the Army tattoo, dog shows, band and drill displays every evening. Proceeds of the show go to welfare projects in the SLLI Regiment.

Major General Amal Karunasekara, Colonel of the Regiment, SLLI graced the inauguration of the event at Hikkaduwa as the Chief Guest.
