An awareness programme on HIV & AIDS was conducted at the gymnasium in the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) auditorium at Boyagane on Thursday (01).

In response to a request of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Colonel of the Regiment, VIR, a team of representatives of John Keels Charity Foundation of John Keels Private Limited conducted the lecture session to keep soldiers informed.

The day’s lecture was attended by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier W.S Ariyasinghe, 25 officers and 535 other ranks.
