Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), on the directions of the Commander of the Army, conducted two separate educational seminars for G.C.E (O/L) candidates at Pooneryn Maha Vidyalaya and Jayapuram Maha Vidyalaya during November 23 - 24.

Both seminars covered subjects, such as Mathematics, Science and English and lectures were delivered free of charge by a panel of teachers, Mr K Dharshana, Mr S Tangawadiweli, Mr B Shantha Ruban and Mr Murugaval as advised by the Department of Education in Kilinochchi.

A total of 182 O/L students took part in both seminars and arrangements were facilitated by 661 Brigade and 663 Brigade of the 66 Division under the SFHQ-KLN. Brigadier C.D Weerasuriya, 663 Brigade Commander, Colonel G.M.C.B.K Ekanayake, 661 Brigade Commander, Principals of both schools, representatives of the Department of Education attended inaugural occasions of the seminars.
