Two more training programmes for officers and other ranks serving in Divisions, Forward Maintenance Areas (FMA), Brigades and Units of the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) continued at the main auditorium in the past few days.

In Wednesday’s programme, Captain K. A. J Kasivetti, 16 Sri Lanka Artillery conducted a lecture on ‘North Korea and World Order’ and Lieutenant T. T Madusanka of 5 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment also spoke on ‘General Pervez Musharaf’. Captain H. M. J. P Herath of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps during the same session conducted a lecture on ‘Army Act & Civil Law’.

Brigadier B.P.S de Silva, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-MLT together with officers, other ranks attended the programme.

Another two-day lecture programme during November 28-29 at the SFHQ(MLT) auditorium got off to a start with a view to broadening the knowledge on military Logistics.

Both programmes were conducted under the guidance of Major General W.B.D.P Fernando, Commander, Security Forces-Mullaittivu. Brigadier D.S.A Dehiwaththa, Brigadier Administration and Quartering (BAQ SF- MLT) delivering remarks.

Colonel C.W.P.G.K Wijeyasundara, Deputy Director Pay and Records talked on ‘Army Logistics’ and ‘Pay Procedures’.

Major General D.C.S Wanniarachchi, Forward Maintenance Area Commander – Mullaittivu attended the event as a key observer.

More than 65 senior officers and officers serving in the SF-MLT area participated at the lecture session.
