Trainees in the Centre for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) volunteered to assist the laying of the concrete slab in the three-storied ‘Dharmashala’ building (preaching hall) of the Nochchiyagama Buddhist Centre at Nochchiyagama, in response to a request made by the custodian of the premises to the CAVT.

A group of 20 trainees in the ongoing course for construction at the CAVT as part of their practical work in the course, assisted the laying of the slab under the supervision of Mr S. Wimalasiri, Advisor, Anuradhapura Vocational Training Authority.

The incumbent after the project thanked the CAVT Army personnel at Saliyawewa and transferred merits, appreciating their support for the new construction.
