A blood donation programme was organized by the Magampura Community Development Foundation in Hambantota with the active participation of the troops serving the 122 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on Friday (1).

The programme took place at the Siribopura Kosalarama Viharaya, Hambantota and a host of civilians offered their blood for use of the patients in hospitals.

On the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - Central, Major General A.P De Z Wickramarathne, the 122 Brigade Commander instructed the troops to help the worthy cause.
