Troops serving in the 111 Brigade under the 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) launched a Dengue Prevention Campaign during 30 June to – 02 July in both Kandy and Matale districts.

During the 5 day-long campaign, Matale and Kandy districts were covered by the troops in the 111 Brigade.

Sri Lanka Police, Sri Lanka Navy, Public Health Officers (PHI), government and non-governmental officials, together with civilians in the areas contributed to the success of the programme.
