122 Brigade troops serving under the SFHQ-C gave their support to conduct the Poson festival which was organized by Gangarama Temple at Katharagama during June 16-20.

3 Sri Lanka National Guard troops provided assistance to make it a success.

The programme included a lantern exhibition, a pandol and a free eatery that served cool drinks to the sightseers.

Army personnel gave their support to clean the temple premises and nearby areas before and after the festival.
