With the intention of improving and strengthening relations between the South and the North, a team of officials and journalists from the Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media visited the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (14). 

Under the theme of “Thalpathai-Panhindai”, the team including Mr B.K.S Ravindra, Additional Secretary to Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media and 8 other members had cordial discussions with Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, SFHQ-J at the conference hall before the scheduled visit of a bigger team in the future. 

The programme will be held for 3 days during 26-28 March where North and South journalists could exchange their views on matters of bilateral relevance.  

Hon Minister Gayantha Karunathilake and the Deputy Minister Karunasena Paranavithana of Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media will participate in the scheduled programme.
