Major General A.P De Z Wickramarathna made his first formal visit to the 12 Division on Thursday (3) after assuming duties as Commander, Security Force Headquarters- Central (SFHQ-C).

On arrival, the visiting Commander was honoured with a formal Guard Turnout and received by Major General G.R.H Dias, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.

Brigade Commanders of 121 and 122 Brigades, Commanding officers, senior officers and Other Rankers participated at the event.

A troop address and the planting of a sapling culminated the event.
