A new accommodation complex for Student Officers residing at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) was declared opened by Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, (SFHQ-J) on Sunday (29).

Earlier all student officers, those who attend training courses and their instructors had to face inconveniences as there were no sufficient accommodation facilities within the SFHQ-J. 

The newly-built accommodation complex provides a separate study room and computer room in addition to living accommodation for forty officers. 

As a concept of the SF Commander, SFHQ-J an old building was renovated by the Engineers Service Regiment for this purpose, adding new wings.
